Gateway LERA announces new leadership team

The Gateway Labor and Employer Relations Association (LERA) has announced the election of its 2019 officers:

• President: Terry Biggs, labor liaison for the Southwest Illinois Division of the United Way of Greater St. Louis and United Steelworkers Local 1899 member;
• President-elect: Anthony Lancia, labor relations vice president at Associated General Contractors of Missouri;
• Treasurer: Glen Reed, commissioner at the St. Louis Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service;
• Secretary: Ted Jarvis, UFCW Local 88 union representative;
• Past president: Karen Settlemoir-Berg, director of servicing/union representative for UFCW Local 655;
• Executive director: Rudy Smith, Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562 retired organizer/business agent.

The Gateway LERA brings together organizations and individuals in the field of industrial and labor/management relations in Greater St. Louis. The organization provides members with networking and educational opportunities.
