Guns ‘N Hoses Block Party on The Hill to benefit first responders

The Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses Block Party on the Hill is set for Saturday, June 15.

The event, presented by Anthoninos Taverna and Karen Kares for Those Who Serve, will be held from 4:30 to 10 p.m. at the Glaziers Local 513 union hall at 5916 Wilson Ave. in St. Louis.

The family-friendly party, which supports first responders, will feature a D.J., bounce house, balloon artist, raffles, a 50/50 drawing and tours of first responder vehicles. Dinner will be provided by Anthoninos Taverna and Pappy’s Smokehouse.

The cost is $40 for two people and includes two bar/soft drinks, a limited edition t-shirt and dinner or $60 for two people with unlimited bar drinks, a limited edition t-shirt and dinner.

Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses hosts three-round boxing matches between area police officers and fire fighters on Thanksgiving Eve each year to benefit the BackStoppers, which provides immediate and long-term financial aid and other support to the families and loved ones of first responders killed in the line of duty. The program benefits the families of first responders in 18 counties in Missouri and Illinois.
