Hygiene products needed for storm victims

October 9, 2017 by admin in Labor News From Our Region with 0 Comments

Collinsville, IL – State Rep. Katie Stuart (D-Edwardsville), a dedicated friend to working families, is partnering with Support the Girls-Edwardsville to collect feminine hygiene products and personal care products for hurricane victims through Oct. 16 at three locations:

• Stuart’s constituent services office, at 2105 Vandalia, Unit 16, Collinsville.

• Edwardsville Children’s Museum, 722 Holyoake Road, Edwardsville.

• Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville Department of Applied Communications Studies in Alumni Hall Office 3112A.

“Like so many in our region, seeing the devastation of the recent hurricanes brings forth memories of the flooding and tornadoes that have hit closer to home,” Stuart said. “These women and their families are facing unimaginable tragedy.”

Donors can also call Stuart’s office at 618-365-6650 to make alternate arrangements.
