IBEW 1 Fifth Annual Poker Run raises $4,600 for worker relief fund

ABOUT 100 IBEW LOCAL 1 MEMBERS and their families and friends turned out for the union’s Fifth Annual Greg Booth Ride for Relief Poker Run, which kicked off at the Henry Miller Museum at 2726 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive on Oct. 5. Brother Booth was elected Local 1 business manager in 2011 and served until his death in August 2012. This year, Local 1 raised $4,600 for the Greg Booth Ride for Relief Committee’s fund, which provides assistance to union members in need. – IBEW Local 1 photo
