When you’re ready to watch TV programming, “Watch Local” stations where it’s your friends and neighbors that are getting the programs on the air, urges IBEW Local 4 in a new billboard campaign that began Dec. 1.
The first billboard is located on Interstate 64 (Highway 40), west of Compton Ave. on the south side facing west, reports Local 4 Business Manager/Financial Secretary Mike Pendergast.
Stations represented by Local 4 include KTVI Channel 2, KPLR Channel 11, KMOV Channel 4, KSDK Channel 5, KETC Channel 9, STL-TV Channel 992 and Fox Sports Midwest.
Local 4 represents the stations’ television engineers, camera persons, newsroom producers, writers, assignment editors and on-air talent.
