IBEW Local 1 member’s son earns rank of Eagle Scout

Christopher Joseph Ryan, the son of Bernie Ryan, (28-year member of IBEW Local 1 and the IBEW’s delegate to the St. Louis Labor Council) and Josephina Ryan recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scout Troop 671 out of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque parish. Cristopher Ryan completed an invasive plant removal and natural habitat restoration project at the World Bird Sanctuary, and was rewarded with a visit by an American bald eagle.  He is pictured with Trina Whitener, naturalist from the World Bird Sanctuary, and Liberty.
