IBEW urges continued boycott of Rexel as negotiations drag on

IBEW Locals 1 and 309 are continuing to banner Rexel Supply, urging union members and the general public not to patronize the electrical supply house over Rexel’s efforts to take away protections from their employees. Local 1 and Rexel have been in contract negotiations for eight months, but Rexel wants to make its new contract mirror the contract they have with their non-union affiliates.

In May, Local 1 and 309 began bannering Rexel’s Edwardsville, Ill. location at at 4792 Signature Industrial Dr.
