Missouri Women in Trades (MoWIT) and the St. Louis chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) are teaming up to host an ice cream social March 7 to celebrate Women in Construction (WIC) week.
The free networking event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Tarlton Corporation, 5500 West Park Ave. in St. Louis. Tarlton, a certified Women’s Business Enterprise, provides general contracting and construction management.
WIC week, which is March 5 – 11, raises awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and emphasize the growing role of women in the industry.
