In memoriam: Adron Floyd, former Glaziers Local 513 business agent

Adron H. Floyd, business agent for Glaziers Local 513 and general representative to the International Brotherhood of Painters & Allied Trades died April 15. He was 95.

Brother Floyd was a glazier who became business agent for Glaziers Local 513. He later was appointed General Representative to the International Brotherhood of Painters & Allied Trades serving glaziers in 17 states. Brother Floyd was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Aleutian Islands.

Brother Floyd was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Jane Floyd and granddaughter Emily Gould. He is survived by his daughters Kathleen (Bill) Fienup and Suzanne Gould; grandchildren Amy (Josh) Kramer, Katie (Ryan) Furniss, Bill Fienup, Maggie (Chris) Franklin, Matthew Gould, and Kelly (Zac) Stettner; 10 great grandchildren; sister-in-law to Patricia DeBold and dear friend Loretta Tucker.

A Mass was held April 19 at St. Louis Abbey at St. Anselm Parish followed by internment Forever Bellerive Cemetery.
