John Hollingsead, an Iron Workers Local 392 retiree, of Centralia, IL passed away April 19, 2022 at his home at age 66.
He loved time spent fishing and mushroom hunting and was an avid football fan who cheered on his favorite team, the Denver Broncos.
Brother Hollingsead is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Smith, of Centralia; mother Glennys Hollingsead of Mount Vernon, IL; son Tyler (Tommie) Hollingsead of Centralia; daughter Leslie (Jason) Gambill, of Centralia; and grandchildren Donovan Gambill, Adrianna Gambill, Nola Gambill, Ember Gambill, Kaiden Hollingsead, and Jameson Hollingsead.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Hollingsead; his sister, Sue Ann Hollingsead; his brother, Lenny Hollingsead; and his daughter, Jordan Hollingsead.
A celebration of life service will be held at a future date by the family. Memorials in Brother Hollingsead’s honor may be made to the Family’s Wishes and will be accepted for the family at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home, 234 S. Elm St., Centralia, IL 62801.
