IN MEMORIAM: Laborers Local 110’s James Fraley, Jr.

James E. Fraley, Jr., a member of Laborers Local 110, died Jan. 31, 2024 at deGreeff Hospice House in St. Louis. He was 64.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked for many years worked for Alberici Construction. He enjoyed watching TV, listening to music and relaxing with his cats and dogs, as well as having a barbeque with friends and family.

Brother Fraley was born Feb 23, 1959 in St. Louis, the son of Bertha M. (Moody) Fraley of St. Louis and the late James E. Fraley, Sr.

Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Fraley; a step-son, James Shipp; one grandson, Justin Tessmer; one sister, Penny Fraley; and his girlfriend, Sherry Mikel, all of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by two siblings: Kim Singer and Kenny Fraley.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Feb. 18 at Hope Vineyard Church at 2923 Telegraph Road in St. Louis.
