IN MEMORIAM: Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 101’s Thomas Jolley

Thomas Merian Jolley, 92, of Fairview Heights, Ill., passed away April 15, 2024.

Brother Jolley was a graduate of Belleville Township High School and Ranken Trade School. He was a long-time member of Plumbers & Fitters Local 101 of Belleville. He enjoyed traveling and cruising, sports, card playing and gardening.

He was born in southern Illinois to Thomas and Cornelia “Connie” Jolley. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas R. Jolley, a brother and sister-in-law, James and Geri Jolley, and sister-in-law, Helen Raeber.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys, nee Raeber; a daughter, Carol (Ed) Kienlen; daughter-in-law, Amy Jolley; three grandchildren, Stuart (Kelly) Kienlen, Mark (Jennifer) Kienlen, and Kiana Jolley; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Conner Kienlen; a sister, Jane Jolley; a brother-in-law, Leroy Raeber; five nieces, Shelley (Bob) Funck, Jill Cason, Julie (Jay) Dinkelmann, Jamie McCarthy, and Susan (Michael) McCarthy; three nephews, Derrick Crass, Jeffrey Crass, and Michael (Catherine) Raeber; and many great-nieces and nephews.

According to Tom’s wishes, there were no formal services. Memorials may be made to BJC Hospice, 1935 Belt Way Drive, St. Louis, Mo. 63114.
