Iron Workers Local 392 hosts lunch for retirees

East St. Louis, IL – Iron Workers Local 392 hosted a lunch for retirees Oct. 19 serving up pork steaks, wings and fried chicken with all the fixings at the union hall here.

Local 392 Business Representative Greg Kapp said the union hosts two lunches for retirees each year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

“It’s good to see them all together and gives them a chance to get a bite to eat and catch up,” he said.

Retirees Dicky Gygan and “Iron” Jack Lesko volunteered their time to cook the meal. And state Representative Katie Stuart (D-Edwardsville) stopped by for a visit.  – All photos by the Labor Tribune
