The 2016 Labor United Way Trap Shoot & BBQ will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, April 8, at Gateway Gun Club, 13547 Missouri Bottom Road., Bridgeton, Mo.
This is the kickoff event for the Labor/United Way Campaign.
The annual event is supported by the St. Louis Labor Council, St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council, Southwestern Illinois Central Labor Council, Southwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council and the Greater Madison County Federation of Labor.
Last year’s event raised more than $25,000 for United Way programs in the bi-state region.
The entry fee is $70 for two rounds. Sponsorships are available for between $125 and $1,000.
The BBQ will follow the shoot at Machinists 837 Hall 212 Utz Lane, Hazelwood, Mo.
Amy Phillips, Labor liaison with the United Way, said organizers are still looking for prize donations.
