Laborers Local 110 donates $10K to Guns ’N Hoses

SUNSET HILLS, MO – Laborers Local 110 has donated $10,000 to the Guns and Hoses annual fundraising event, which began in 1987. Holding up the big check is (from left) Local 110 Recording Secretary Mark Bielicke, Secretary-Treasurer Steve MacDonald, Business Manager Ronny Griffin, President Rob Reed and Government Affairs Director Clint McBride. The one-day event, which consists of three-round boxing matches between area police officers and fire fighters, is held on Thanksgiving Eve to benefit the BackStoppers, an organization that provides immediate and long-term financial aid and other support to the families and loved ones of first responders killed in the line of duty in 18 counties in Missouri and Illinois.
