Wentzville, MO – Laborers Local 660 will soon be moving into a brand new union hall here at 1320 S. Callahan Road.
The current union hall, which is about 6,000 square feet, is located at 2633 West Clay St. in St. Charles. The new hall, currently under construction, will be more than twice that size at 15,000 square feet.
‘SUPER EXCITED’
“We’re super excited to be moving into the new hall,” said Local 660 Business Manager Nathan Rose. “We outgrew our old space, and our infrastructure there is outdated. The new hall is more centrally located for our members. We have a lot of members who live in Lincoln and Warren counties.”
The new hall, scheduled to open May 1, contains office space and a 5,400-square-foot meeting space, which will be available to members to rent, Rose said. The union currently has about 1,300 members.
‘COMING ALONG NICELY’
ARCO Construction is the general contractor on the $4.5 million project, and Nick Zerillo, Local 660’s sergeant-at-arms, is the head laborer on the project.
“I’ve been working on the project since the beginning, and everything is coming along nicely,” Zerillo said.
