Machinists Dist. 9 Health and Welfare Office raises $4,500 for $5 for the Fight Fund

Machinists Dist. 9’s Health and Welfare office has been holding a one month fundraiser among their 22 employees the last couple of years to raise money for the St. Louis Labor Council’s $5 for the Fight Fund by asking employees to donate in exchange for wearing jeans and casual clothing in the office.  On April 27, they presented a check for $4,500 to St. Louis Labor Council President Pat White – the total raised over the last two years.
