Missouri Alliance for Retired Americans celebrates Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid with veterans

The Missouri Alliance for Retired Americans (MoARA) and Organized Labor representatives from the Teamsters, Machinists (IAM), Teachers (AFT), local union retirees’ clubs and friends honored veterans Aug. 23, and celebrated Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid with bingo and a birthday cake at the Missouri Veterans Home in Bellefontaine Neighbors. “The bingo and birthday cake were enjoyed by all and veterans were thanked for their services,” said MoARA President Dave Meinell. “We must never forget.”– MoARA photo
