Missouri Alliance for Retired Americans donates $1,000 to striking UAW members

Wentzville, MO – The Missouri chapter of the Alliance for Retired Americans recently donated $1,000 to the Greater St. Louis Labor Council’s $5 for the Fight fund to benefit striking members of United Auto Workers Local 2250. “We realize that even when this strike (against General Motors) is settled, these union members all have household bills to pay right now, and we wanted to help them out as much as possible,” said David Meinell, president of the Missouri ARA.
