St. Louis – Dave Meinell, a champion of the St. Louis Labor Movement and former president of the Missouri Alliance of Retired Americans (MOARA), will be honored with the Alliance’s Robert O. Kortkamp Humanitarian Award to thank him for his years of caring dedication and service to the working men and women of Missouri.
The award honors Kortkamp’s strong personal commitment on behalf of working families, persons with disabilities and senior citizens. Kortkamp was one of the founders of the Missouri Alliance for Retired Americans.
The award luncheon will be held on Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Maggie O’Brien’s, 2000 Market St., St. Louis.
