MoWIT delivers ‘Vote No on Prop A’ message at PrideFest

ABOUT 25 MEMBERS of Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT), including a superhero, a stiltwalker and another dressed as Rosie the Riveter, proudly marched in this year’s PrideFest Parade on June 25 in downtown St. Louis. Their message was clear: “Right-to-work is wrong for Women and Missouri. Vote No on Prop A.” The group also had a booth at the event where members passed out materials to women on how to join the building trades and explained what “right-to-work” really means, how it will hurt ALL workers, and why it’s important to Vote No on Prop A on Aug.7. – Renee Renn photo
