MOWIT hosts tradeswomen meetup, tool giveaway

ST. LOUIS – Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT) held its first tradeswomen meetup on June 10 after cancelling the last two because of the coronavirus pandemic. The event, which included a tool giveaway, was held in the parking lot at the MOWIT office at 2929 S. Jefferson Ave. The tools were donated to the organization from retired tradespeople. While the event looked a little different from past meetups because of COVID-19 restrictions, the tradeswomen were grateful for the opportunity to see each other again. – Labor Tribune photo
