MOWIT inaugural Cornhole Tournament a huge success

MISSOURI WOMEN IN TRADES’ inaugural Cornhole Tournament fundraiser turned out to be a hit with union members, their families and allies with more than 25 two-member teams competing in the event and many others cheering them on. The friendly competition was held April 30 at The Golden Hoosier at 3707 S. Kingshighway Blvd. and included a raffle and silent auction. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help MOWIT, a non-profit organization, expand opportunities for women to enter and succeed in apprenticeships and careers in the union construction and building trades in the Greater St. Louis area. – Labor Tribune photo
