John Stiffler, executive secretary-treasurer of the St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council, is reminding members of the upcoming Veterans Day holiday and when the holiday will be observed on the following projects.
NGA & BJC PROJECTS
• Veteran’s Day is observed on Saturday, Nov. 11.
• Friday, Nov. 10, is a regular workday.
USDA & NMA PROJECTS
• As per these agreements, if the holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as the holiday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as the holiday.
• Veteran’s Day will be observed on Friday, Nov. 10. If worked, overtime pay will be applicable.
The agreements on all four projects supersede all local CBA’s holidays.
