Painters DC 58 banners new Ashley Homestore in Kirkwood

Kirkwood, MO – Painters District Council 58 is bannering the new Ashley Homestore at 10525 Manchester Rd. with a steady drumbeat for using St. Charles-based Bales Cleaning and Restoration Services, a non-union contractor that pays below area standards and benefits negotiated by DC 58, for painting at the rehabbed store building. An employee at the store, which is owned by Memphis-based Dufresne Spencer Group, said the painting was behind schedule.
