Congratulations to UPI photographer, regular Labor Tribune freelancer and former fire fighter, Bill Greenblatt on his selection for induction into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame for Photographers. He is past president of the St. Louis Press Club and already enshrined in the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame.

A FAMILIAR SIGHT on the sidelines of almost every sports game in St. Louis, Missouri Hall of Fame photographer Bill Greenblatt is also a periodic photographer for the Labor Tribune.

If you’re an avid sports fan, you’ve undoubtedly seen Bill on the sidelines with his huge telephoto lens hanging off his camera shooting photos for the Cardinals, Blues Rams, football Cardinals, St. Louis Steamers, Spirits of St. Louis and the University of Missouri.

Along with his work for United Press International, Bill’s the longtime official photographer for the St. Louis Fire Department, St. Louis Sport Hall of Fame and many politicians on both sides of the political aisle.

Greenblatt started out as a fire fighter in Boone County while a student at the University of Missouri. When he came home to St. Louis, he became the official photographer for the department.

We’re proud to have Bill’s creative photos for our readers.
