Plasterers Local 3 pickets Plaza Tire in Arnold over use of non-union Modern Exteriors

Arnold, MO – Plasters Local 3 Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer Jeremy Bock walked an informational picket April 1 at the Plaza Tire store here, which is undergoing remodeling, over general contractor Boulder Construction, LLC’s use of non-union subcontractor Modern Exteriors, which pays below area standard wages and benefits negotiated by Local 3. Bock said Boulder also is doing its own roofing work rather than hiring a Roofers Local 2 signatory contractor. – Labor Tribune photo
