The Greater St. Louis Area Port Council will hold its Second Annual Golf Tournament followed by its annual awards dinner to benefit the Council’s PAC fund Friday, Sept. 8, at the Landings at Spirit Golf Course in Chesterfield.
Last year was the first year the Port Council eschewed its formal awards dinner for the more casual golf outing and awards dinner, and it was a huge success.
The golf outing will begin with a four-man scramble shotgun start at noon. The awards dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m.
HONOREES
This year’s honorees are:
• Labor Man of the Year Pat Dolan – President of Sprinkler Fitters Local 268 and a member of the St. Louis County Council.
• Management Man of the Year Jim Kavanaugh – CEO of Worldwide Technology.
• Able Helmsman Award Honoree Gregory FX Daly – St. Louis City Collector of Revenue.
Special guests will include Seafarers International President Mike Sacco and AFL-CIO Maritime Trades Department Executive Secretary-Treasurer Dan Duncan.
TOURNAMENT AND DINNER REGISTRATION
Entry fee for the tournament is $600 per team includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, dinner and open bar.
Premiere Dinner sponsorships for the whole shebang are $750. Hole sponsorships are $100. Dinner alone is $40.
