Ramshaw retires, Madden steps up as president of South County Labor Club

Scott Ramshaw, founding member and president of the South St. Louis County Labor Political Organization, is retiring and passing the gavel to Tom Madden. Both are members of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 562.

Ramshaw has served as president of the South County Labor Club since its inception in 1986-87. He is also the governmental affairs director for Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 562.

Madden is a Local 562 plumber and part-time instructor. He also serves on the St. Louis County Land Clearance and Revitalization Authority, a position he was appointed to by County Executive Dr. Sam Page.

“I plan on continuing the level of commitment that Scott put into this organization,” Madden said. “I am excited about the club’s future.”
