retirement happy hour for Rudy Smith, outgoing executive director of the Gateway Chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA), is scheduled for March 31.
The celebration will be held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Bartolino’s Osteria, 2103 Sulphur Ave. in St. Louis. Drinks and appetizers will be provided.
A retired organizer/business agent for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562, Smith has been associated with LERA for 36 years.
Gateway LERA brings together organizations and individuals in the field of industrial and labor/management relations in Greater St. Louis and provides members with networking and educational opportunities.
