Missouri Women in Trades (MoWIT) will host an event recognizing and honoring St. Louis-area tradeswomen on Friday, Sept. 20.
The MoWIT Blue Collar-Black Tie Tradeswomen Awards Gala will begin at 6 p.m. at Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36 Grand Hall, 2319 Chouteau Ave. in St. Louis. It will include dinner, an award ceremony and a dance party.
This will be the biggest fundraiser in the history of the non-profit organization, which is dedicated to expanding opportunities for women to enter and succeed in apprenticeship and careers in the construction and building trades in the greater St. Louis area.
