Sheet Metal Workers Local 36 members in the St. Louis area and central and southwest Missouri once again teamed up for the union’s annual food and toy drive to help those in need over the holidays.

In St. Louis, members donated two tons of food to the Arnold Food Pantry, which serves residents in Arnold and portions of Imperial, Fenton and South County. Members were also able to provide toys to the following organizations:

  • Children’s Division Foster Care in St. Louis City and St. Louis and Jefferson counties.
  • From His House to Yours Free Store in Fulton, Mo.
  • Freeway Ministries in Springfield, Mo.
  • Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.

“Additionally, we were able to adopt four kids in Jefferson County foster care,” said Local 36 President and Business Manager Ray Reasons. “We were specifically able to provide gifts for a three-year-old, a four-year-old, a 10-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl.”

Reasons extended a special “thank you” to Walter and Nancy Warren and Zachary Warren for their tireless efforts to coordinate the toy donations in St. Louis City and St. Louis and Jefferson counties.
