Sheet Metal Workers Local 36 Poker Run for Disabled American Veterans is May 18

Sheet Metal Workers logo copyWashington, MO – Sheet Metal Workers Local 36 will host its fifth annual Motorcycle Ride and Charity Poker Run for Disabled American Veterans (DAV) on Sunday, May 18, starting at the Clover Bottom Grill, 7760 Highway YY in Washington, MO.

Ride Hands are $10. Additional hands are $5. Top Hand wins $150.

The event is open to all riders and will also include a 50/50 drawing and raffles.

Sign-up is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Last bike in at 4:45 p.m.

DAV is the longest-running veterans advocacy group in the country, with a mission of empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. The DAV helps veterans and their families by assisting them in accessing benefits and fighting for their interests on Capitol Hill and working to educate the public about veterans’ sacrifices and their needs in transitioning back to civilian life.
