Southwestern Illinois Building Trades ring in the holidays

Fairmont City – One of southwestern Illinois’ biggest Labor events of every year is the holiday party of the Southwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council, which this year included a packed house of Labor leaders and political supporters. Due to a Labor dispute at the original planned location, this year’s gathering, on Dec. 6, was held for the first time in the spacious community hall at St. Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
