The Greater St. Louis Labor Council is asking all affiliated unions to provide names of their unions’ members who were deceased in the years 2019-2020 to be included in the upcoming 41st Annual Robert O. Kortkamp Union Prayer Service and Mass.

The annual prayer service and mass will be held on Sunday, May 2 at the Shrine of St. Joseph, patron saint of the working man, at 11th and Biddle streets in downtown St. Louis.

The names of union members who passed away in the years 2019 and 2020, and members who died on the job specifically or from “work related” illness or injury during 2019-2020, will be printed in an event program and recognized with a special interfaith prayer service at 8:30 a.m. outside the church. Clergy of several faiths will be participating.

Mass will follow, starting at 9 a.m. inside the church.

Deceased members’ names should be submitted as soon as possible, listed alphabetically by last name, to ensure their inclusion in the program.

Information may be faxed to 314-291-8676 or emailed to Amy Phillips at aphillips@stlclc.org or Christine Brame at cbrame@stlclc.org, or mailed to: St. Louis Labor Council, 3301 Hollenberg Drive, Bridgeton, MO 63044.

BRUNCH AT MAGGIE’S
Brunch will follow the mass at Maggie O’Brien’s, 2000 Market St. in downtown St. Louis.

Tickets for the brunch are $30 per person or $300 for a table of 10. Make checks payable to Union Labor Mass, and mail to St. Louis Labor Council, AFL-CIO, 3301 Hollenberg Drive Bridgeton, MO 63044. RSVP by Wednesday, April 28, to reserve your place.
