TRIVIAL PURSUITS – The Granite City chapter of SOAR (Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees) raised more than $6,600 for community charities on Friday, April 12, at its annual trivia night. More than 200 retirees, relatives and friends turned out at the Granite City Knights of Columbus. Sharing a good laugh at the event (top right photo, from left), Tina Huett, Natasha Stellhorn and Barber Maurer came ready to test their knowledge. Based on their expressions (top left photo), Edwardsville attorney Mike Bilbrey (left) and Madison County Chief Circuit Judge Dave Hylla, ruled the event a huge success. – Labor Tribune photo
