Edwardsville, IL – Metro-East residents are invited to a Healthcare Town Hall meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, sponsored by state representative Katie Stuart (D-Edwardsville) and St. John’s Community Care at the Edwardsville Public Library, 112 S. Kansas St.
Stuart will discuss newly passed legislation that guarantees state residents access to health insurance regardless of pre-existing conditions.
“I invite everyone to come out and join a productive discussion on how we can improve health care here in the Metro East and throughout Illinois, starting with ideas for new legislation.”
St. John’s, of Collinsville, provides home and community based health care services to veterans, adults with disabilities and the elderly.
