If you are an AT&T mobile phone subscriber, are you aware of the substantial discounts available to you as a union member?

That was the message AT&T Midwest Union Account Manager Jason Kaster brought to a meeting of the St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council, first to thank them for their support of the only union mobile service company, and second, to ask that they make their members aware of the money-saving options available to union members.

Cost savings available to unions and union members include:

  • Union members – a 15 percent discount on wireless services.
  • For a union office, their staff and officers – an 18 percent discount on wireless services.
  • For unions providing wireless service to their service staffs where the union pays the wireless bill – a 22 percent discount.
  • A 20 percent discount to every union member on accessories.

For union members wanting to switch their mobile service from a non-union carrier, AT&T will provide $650 in credit per line that’s changed to help cover change-over costs charged by other providers.

He noted proudly, “AT&T employs over 150,000 union workers, members of the Communications Workers and the IBEW.

“And it’s easy to do, just go into your local AT&T store, show them your union card, and they’ll help make the changes in your billing,” he said.

Or, an option, he added, visit att.com/wireless/union and use the union discount code 3508840.

Kaster also made himself available to locals to come by their office, check their billings and make sure they are getting the union discounts offered.
