Teamsters Local 688 raises more than $1,700 for the United Way through inaugural pool tournament

Bridgeton, MO – The Inaugural Teamsters Local 688 Pool Tournament raised more than $1,700 for the United Way of Greater St. Louis and got members together for some fun May 21 at Lehmann’s Landing here. “We wanted to come up with an event to raise money for a local charity and a way to engage our members,” said Jim Barrett, Local 688 Political Director and business agent. “We sincerely thank everyone who participated and we can’t wait to host this event again.” Local 688’s Patrick Hoth took first place in the tournament, followed by Local 688 Secretary Treasurer Chris Tongay in second place and Local 688’s Tony Dulca in third place. – Teamsters Local 688 photo
