Three retire from UFCW Local 88 with a combined 89 years of service

UFCW Meat, Seafood & Deli Workers Local 88 are celebrating three members who are retiring with a combined 89 years of service.

First is Elmer Marz from Radeackar’s Market at 6771 Mall Drive in Cedar Hill who is retiring after 54 years of Local 88 membership. “Thank you for your hard work and dedication to not only your fellow teammates, but all the customers you have taken care of all these years.” Local 88 wrote on its Facebook page.

The second retiree is Ronnie Gunter, who has worked at Schnucks at 10275 Clayton Road in Ladue for 24 years. “We wish you a very long and fun-filled retirement,” the union shared on its Facebook page. There is no doubt you will be truly missed by your teammates and longtime customers.”

And finally, Mark Schultz, who has worked at Dierbergs at 2979 State Highway K in O’Fallon, Mo. for 11 years. “We all wish you the very best and hope you have a long and happy next phase of your life,” Local 88 wrote. “Thank you for your years of hard work and dedication. You will be missed by all who got to know you.”
