DSCF8247 coverDozens of union brothers and sisters and community members turned out for a rally Monday, April 28, at University City city hall to support five of six University City fire fighters who were suspended for three months without pay in an attempt to silence their voices and bully them into staying out of the political process.

Fire Fighters Local 2665 is going to court to fight for the rights of its members who were suspended for appearing on their own time and not in uniform in a political brochure. To help offset their lost wages, Local 2665 has established a “U-City 6 Fund.”
