To fight back against right-to-work, paycheck deception, attacks on prevailing wage and other anti-worker measures in the 2016 legislative session, the Missouri AFL-CIO has organized a series of front porch meetings –– member-to-member walks in various representative districts to encourage union members to contact their representatives and urge their support for working families.

For these meetings to be successful, union members need to turn out.

Following is the schedule for upcoming walks near you:

  • March 24 – South County – 5-7 p.m. – Representative Mike Leara (R-St. Louis). Meet at 4532 South Lindbergh Blvd. in south St. Louis County.
  • March 26 – Ferguson – 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Representative Courtney Allen Curtis (D-Ferguson). Meet at Region 5 UAW, 721 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, MO.
  • March 28 – Jefferson County – 5-7 p.m. – Representative Elaine Gannon (R-De Soto). Meet at Orscheln Farm & Home, 20 Jefferson Square, De Soto, MO
