YOUR LETTERS: Endorsed friend of Labor in Jefferson County

I am writing about my candidacy for the 97th Missouri House District in Jefferson County. I have lived in High Ridge, MO for over 30 years, own my own company and am a single father.

I am also a true friend of Labor and believe it is important that the 97th House district has a strong pro-Labor conservative who will be able to represent the people of his district and protect the interests of Labor at the same time. I received the St. Louis COPE endorsement May 18, 2022.

I was raised by a single mother who did her best to raise me right. She died right before I graduated high school. My cousins went into (Plumbers & Pipefitters) Local 562 and I started a guttering company called C and C Seamless Guttering and started hiring kids from High Ridge. I was 21.

My family has always been UNION proud. My grandfather was in Local 562 along with his brother. I have two uncles, Dave and Bud Castell. Dave is a lifelong member of Local 562 and my Uncle Bud is a lifelong member of the Carpenters Council. I have always admired these men, and I would lose a seat at Thanksgiving if I ever did anything against the unions.

I am the only candidate in my race that will be a friend of Labor and fight for the cause. My opponent is affiliated with Americans for Prosperity.

To win my race, I need your help and support. I would like you to consider making a donation to my campaign. I need your financial support so I can win this race and the fight for Labor in Jefferson City.

Checks can be made payable to Citizens to Elect David Casteel and mailed to 2451 Crestview Dr., High Ridge, MO 63049.

Thanks for your support.

DAVID CASTEEL
COPE endorsed candidate
Missouri’s 97th House District
