YOUR LETTERS: Tullock for Jefferson County Council

My name is Bob Tullock, candidate for Jefferson County Council in District 7 for the Aug. 2 Republican primary, recently receiving the Jefferson County Labor Club and the AFL-CIO COPE endorsements.

Jefferson County is a growing and developing county and I see a lot of opportunities for highly skilled and trained workers, but those opportunities can only be made available if we elect the right people to office who support our unions.

My family and I have been members of UAW Local 325, UAW 110, and the Elevator Constructors Local 3. As a member of Local 325 myself, I can well appreciate the importance of a union presence in our community.

In fact, I believe that I am the only candidate running in District 7 who has a union label on their business cards and campaign signs.

As you well know, campaigns are expensive and time consuming and I can’t do it alone. I would proudly accept, and I would greatly appreciate, any support that you may be able to provide.

Campaign contributions can be mailed to Committee to Elect Bob Tullock, Jennifer Carpentier, treasurer, 5400 Buckeye Valley Road, House Springs, MO 63051. There are no contribution limits for county-wide races in Missouri, according to the Missouri Ethics Commission.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me on my cell phone at 636-394-0000 or by email at bobtullock4council@earthlink.net. There are only nine weeks left for this year’s primary, so time is of the essence.

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

BOB TULLOCK (R)
Labor endorsed
Jefferson County Council Dist. 7
