Bread & Roses Missouri receives $10,000 gift from Wash U students

St. Louis – Bread & Roses Missouri recently received a $10,000 donation from Washington University students who participate in the Philanthropy Lab course. Students in the innovative class choose a problem, research organizations in the area who are working on that problem and invite them to apply.

Bread & Roses uses an arts lens to examine social and economic justice issues and is committed to fighting racism, sexism, classism and other forms of discrimination.

“After a written application and site visit, we were chosen for our work in arts-based community development,” Bread & Roses Shared on Facebook. “We are grateful for their support.”
