CLUW Celebration of Women Brunch entertaining, empowering, enlightening

Maryland Heights, MO – The 6^th Annual St. Louis Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) Celebration of Women Brunch will be remembered as entertaining, empowering and enlightening. The event, held April 22 at the CWA Local 6300 Union Hall at 2258 Grissom Ave., featured over 15 Labor union women and elected officials who shared stories and information through poetry, song and dance and speeches. Specifically, the brunch included an overview of working women’s history, personal experiences of on-the-job perseverance and presentations on the importance of voting and running for political office.   – Labor Tribune photos
