The fourth annual IBEW Local 1 Greg Booth Ride for Relief Poker Run is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13. Proceeds benefit the union’s worker relief fund.
Check in and registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Local 1 Hall at 5850 Elizabeth Ave. in St. Louis, and coffee and doughnuts will be served. The run will start promptly at 9 a.m. and pass through Babler State Park, Franklin County and finish at B. Hall’s Family Grill, 3782 Monticello Plaza Drive, in St. Charles.
The first poker hand is $25 and extra hands are $5 each. The event will also include raffle tickets and attendance prizes. T-shirts commemorating the event will be available for $25.
The ride is named after Brother Greg Booth, who was elected Local 1 business manager in 2011 and served until his death in August 2012.
