The workforce is changing. How employers recruit and retain employees is changing. What employees expect is changing. How are you prepared for managing these changes?

Join Gateway Labor and Employer Relations Association (LERA) for an interactive discussion on Wednesday, Oct. 2 on how having five different generations of workers in the workforce at the same changes how employers interact with employees.

The event will be held at the IBEW Local 1439 Union Hall at 2121 59th St. in St. Louis. Registration begins at 2:45 p.m., and the program runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Appetizers and drinks will be provided.

Guest speakers include Dr. Jacqueline Meaders-Booth, manager of career development at St. Louis Community College, and Kevin Andert, manager of College and Career Readiness for the Special School District for St. Louis County.

The program is free for LERA patrons and co-sponsor members and $50 for LERA individual and non-members. RSVP by Sept. 25 online at lera-gateway.org, by mail LERA, c/o Rudy L. Smith, 240 Millridge Dr., Moscow Mills, MO 63362 or by phone at 636-356-4320.
