Glaziers Local 513 raises more than $13,000 for St. Louis Crisis Nursery

GLAZLERS LOCAL 513 recently presented the St. Louis Crisis Nursery with a check for $13,565.84, proceeds from the union’s second annual Charity Golf Tournament Aug. 26 at Florissant Golf Club. Presenting the check to Crisis Nursery Director Jane Beckman (center, behind the check) were Local 513 President Sean Treece (left, holding the check) and Local 513 Business Representative John Deeken (right).

The St. Louis Crisis Nursery provides short-term safe haven for 5,000 children per year, ages birth through 12 years old, whose families face an emergency caused by illness, homelessness, domestic violence or overwhelming parental stress. The nursery provides care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at five nurseries, and support for families at 10 outreach centers throughout St. Louis, St. Charles, Southern Illinois and surrounding regions. – Glaziers Local 513 photo
