East St. Louis – Governor JB Pritzker has opened a Community Based Testing Site at the Jackie Joyner Kersee Community Center on Argonne Drive, East St. Louis.
The testing is free and requires no referral for essential workers and those showing symptoms of COVID-19 infection.
“We must protect our family, friends and community,” said Totsie Bailey, executive-secretary treasurer of the Southwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council. “Since our member’s are Essential workers they can be tested free there, without any referral. Anyone that thinks they need a test, please use this, it could save someone’s life.”
